Protection while meditating


grounding is important It is no secret that there is negativity (or toxins) in the environment around us. It is inevitable to be exposed (i.e. individuals giving off a low vibration, areas with emotional/physical/spiritual toxins in the environment, parasites and energy vampires, etc) whether it is school, work, in a store, or around our home. The question is, what can we do to protect ourselves from negativity and toxins? The answer to that question is very simple in fact, an energy/meditation exercise called Grounding and Shielding.

This simple energy exercise can be practiced at any time during the day, whether it is right when you get up, or before you go to sleep. You can do this while you are meditation or doing breathing exercises. In fact, you can do this while you exercise! Just find a way that works for you. The first step is to do this when you are in a comfortable position (standing (if standing either on soil, mud, grass, gravel, dirt, in the the shower, or etc, whatever works for you), sitting, or laying down, again whatever works for you).

How to Ground: Close your eyes…….. envision a massive tree of your choice. Whether it is an Oak, Red Wood, Sequoia, Cherry Blossom, Palm Tree, it is all up to you. Envision that YOU are that tree. Envision a great silvery white etheric cord aligning your chakras into the ground and making them glow as a unit. Feel the roots growing from your feet all the way into the ground. You are the tree. You are one with the great Mother Gaia. Feel and see the surroundings… the gentle breeze on your branches, the sound of birds (or waves if it is the beach), and the sun on your bark. You will close out once you feel a sense of wholeness and completeness.…

Remember to Clap THREE TIMES when you are finished

The next exercise, which is Shielding is similar and again can be done in whatever form works best for you.
